Swasth Aspataal – A Video Volunteers Initiative To Fix Our Hospitals | Healthcare in India

Swasth Aspataal is an initiative by Video Volunteers to report on and fix the healthcare system of our country. Most of the primary health centres and other healthcare facilities in rural India are in urgent need of funding. The infrastructure for healthcare is crumbling and the nearest healthcare for every rural Indian lies several kilometres away - at the district hospital. The government-run district hospitals are in no great shape either and there is always shortage of staff, beds, medical equipment etc. Most of these shortcomings were exposed during the COVID-19 waves in India.

Follow this page to get latest updates on hospitals, primary healthcare centres and Impacts created by Community Correspondents to fix these issues.
